INSULATING WINDING FOR ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the accommodation of an iron core with flexibility to curved sections by winding rapid gardening mica tapes on the linear sections of a tortoise shell winding wherein slow hardening mica tapes are wound on the curved sections and the winding is housed in an iron core after molding. CONSTITUTION:Rapid hardening mica tapes 5 including hardening agent of boron fluoride group such as BF3-MEA monoether amine or the like are wound on the linear sections 2 of a winding formed a tortoise shell shape and mica tapes 7 including hardening agent with slower hardening than the linear sections are wound on the end sections 3 and loop sections 4 of the winding. Both mica tapes are wound with level difference on the parts 6 superimposing both mica tapes. The winding is housed in the slot of an iron core 1 after applying mold treatment to the winding. In this way, flexibility is given to the end sections and loop sections which receive stress at the time of accommodating the iron core. Therefore, work for accommodating the iron core can be accomplished easily.
