PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission type screen of good directivity, and good contrast and image quality by disposing a transparent substrate having a surface of Fresnel lens structure and light absorbing layers on a surface parallel with the optical axis of the lens, and a transparent substrate having a light scattering surface so as to contact the above-mentioned surfaces oppositely each other. CONSTITUTION:In the transmission type screen suitable for a video projector or the like, a transparent substrate 6 which has a concentrical circular Fresnel structure surface 8, is formed with light absorbing layers 10 on the surface parallel with the optical axis of the lens structure 8 at a prescribed pitch P and height d, and is constituted with optical part surfaces 11 on the scattering surface is prepared. On the other hand, a transparent plate 7 which has a light scattering surface 9, and of which the surface 14 opposite from the surface 9 is lightly matted is prepared. The layers 10 of the substrate 6 and the surface 9 of the substrate 7 are stuck closely, and the periphery is encircled by a light absorptive member 13, whereby a transmission type screen 5 is manufactured. In this way, the images projected from the substrate 6 side are projected as the good images of less losses of video light, good contrast and having no moire phenomena on the surface 14 of the substrate 7. |
