PURPOSE:To enable a pressure detector to be applied to a digital engine controlling system, by a method wherein a pulse signal is obtained as an output by generating two signals having different time data according to the pressure dependence. CONSTITUTION:When an FF46 is being set, an analog switch (ASW) 41 on the side of a strain gauge 1 is on, and a positive voltage is integrated through the guage 1. On the other hand, when the FF46 is being reset, an ASW 42 on the side of a strain gauge 2 is on, and a negative voltage is integrated through the gauge 2. Comparators 44 and 45 compare reference voltages Vref1 and Vref2, which are different from each other, with a waveform (a) and output waveforms (b) and (c) respectively. The outputs of the respective comparators are applied to the reset and set terminals of the FF46 to obtain a waveform (d) for the output thereof. Accordingly, the difference between the periods of time when the FF46 is being set and reset is proportional to pressure. |
