<p>PURPOSE:To exercise control over a tape run in fast forward mode, by providing a means of making a transition to stop or playback operation according to the count value of a memory counter. CONSTITUTION:This controller is equipped with a counter switch MS turned on by a memory counter which performs ring counting operation in an up/down direction according to the forward/backward run of a tape when the most significant digit of its count value is nine, a signal generating circuit SG which outputs control signals when the MS is turned off in the forward run of the tape and when on in the backward run respectively, a circuit OS which outputs a signal with the control signal or a tape end detection signal, a switch SW2 which changes the output of the OS over between a stop terminal S and a repeat terminal R, and gates NA1 and NA2 which perform change overs to a fast/constant-speed run in a forward/backward direction selectively when the signal is inputted via the terminal R.</p> |
