PURPOSE:To facilitate the arrangement of a mechanical integrating indicator which displays the running distance of a vehicle, etc., and to store and retain a value when the power source is turned off, by driving the integrating indicator electrically by a pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a vehicle-speed origination part 1 composed of a magnet fitted to a wheel 2 and sensor 4 composed of a reed switch, etc., is passed through a waveform shaping circuit 11, pulse distributing circuit 12 and amplifier 13 to turn a pulse motor 20 at a speed proportional to the turning speed of the wheel 2. Through the rotation of the driving shaft 31 of a speedometer 30, the magnet 32 fixed on a rotating shaft revolves to display the vehicle speed with an indicator 35 by utilizing the torque of a guide board 33 and the balanced position of a hair spring 34. On the other hand, the vehicle speed is displayed on a mechanical integrating indicator 40 through worm gears 42 and 43. Thus, the integrating indicator 40 is arranged freely and even if its power source is turned off, its scale is stored and held. |
