<p>PURPOSE:To provide chargeability and facilitate dust collection by spraying a soln. prepd. by dissolving surfactants in water to high resistance dusts thereby hydrophiling the high resistive dusts and lowering their apparent resistance values. CONSTITUTION:A waste gas contg. high resistive dusts produced in an incineration furnace is introduced through the lead-in port 1a of a water spraying device 1, where the soln. prepd. by dissolving surfactants in water at 0.1-1.0vol% is sprayed from a sprayer 2 in the form of spray mist, so that the waste gas and the soln. are mixed. The waste gas contg. the high resistive dusts stuck with the soln. over the entire outside surface thereof by the effect of the surfactants is introduced through an exhaust port 1b, a duct 4, and a lead-in port 3a, into an electrical dust precipitator 3, where it is passed between the dust collecting electrodes and discharge electrodes provided in the device 3, then the minus-charged dusts are attracted and captured on the surfaces of the dust collecting electrodes near the same. Only the gas contg. virtually no dusts is exhausted through an exhaust port 3b.</p> |
