Monitor for correct keyboard actuation - has common key holder and control electronic circuit receiving data signals from key switches on correct actuation

The monitor is intended for reporting the correct actuation of keys, e.g. in keyboards of office and similar machines, by point pressure simulation. The keys (13) are mounted on a holder (2), common to all keys, which is mounted in a slightly shiftable manner. The key switches (18) generate data signals, which are supplied, via a control electronic circuit (16), both to the holder shifting device and to the keyboard output (17). Preferably the holder shifting device is in the form of an electromagnet excitable by a signal control pulse. Alternatively, it may be in the form of an oscillator, which may generate rapidly applicable and slowly fading oscillations within the range from 4 to 8 milliseconds. The data signal may be modulated by a rapidly rising and then fading oscillation, of possibly variable amplitude. The oscillation may consist of a number of time variable pulses.
