PURPOSE:To readily obtain cases for containing transformer of different sizes to match with the demanded specifications of the transformers by composing the case of a base, side plates and a cover member. CONSTITUTION:A transformer case 1 is formed of a base 2, side plates 3 and a cover membr 4. The base 2 serves to carry a transformer and has stationary parts 6 horizontally extending at both sides, vertical sides 7 vertically extending from the stationary parts 6, and a horizontal base part 8 connecting the sides 7. The side plate 3 is constructed by assembling two sets of -shaped members each having panel parts 10 extending perpendicularly from both sides and a vertical panel 11 for connecting the panel parts 10 at both sides. The cover member 4 has a rectangular ceiling plate 13 and side parts 14 downwardly extending from the respective sides of the plate 13. The base 2 and the side plates 3 are formed by bending one plate. Gaps in which air flows are formed between the base 2 and the side plates 3, and between the side plates 3 and the cover member 4. |
