PURPOSE:To achieve the input of many characters or sumbols with a few keys, by inputting the character or symbol of the section where a light emitting element is lighted, through the depression of an arbitrary key. CONSTITUTION:When a light emitting element l5 lights, the middle stage is selected and when the key 7 is depressed, the character S of the middle stage is input. Further, when the selection key 8 is continuously depressed, the light emitting element lights in the order of l5 l4 l6 l5 and each section is selected in the order of middle stage upper stage lower stage middle stage. Thus, the desired section can freely be selected. When the selection key 8 is depressed once with the light emitting element l5 in lighting, the light emitting element l4 is lighted and the section of upper stage is selected. With this state, when the key 7 is depressed, the character V on the upper stage is input. |
