Separation of hydrogen chloride from gaseous mixtures

A method is disclosed for separating hydrogen chloride from a gaseous mixture containing hydrogen chloride and carbon dioxide in admixture with other gaseous impurities comprising contacting said gaseous mixture with a cross-linked, water-soluble polymer of N-glycidylpiperazine at a temperature between about -10 DEG and 100 DEG C.
