The switch has a plastics housing receiving two L-shaped leaf contacts having their arms parallel. The upper arms are separated by a partition and connected to respective wires. The housing has an integral lower wall which extends around and above the free end of the lower limb of the outer contact with a spigot for contacting the limb end. The housing sits in the antitheft device containing a key board and key hole. When the key is inserted it depresses an upper extension of the spigot to depress the lower limb and break its resilient contact with the lower limb of the inner contact. The lid of the housing includes an eyelet which after being folded over the hinge cooperates with a protruding hook in order to lock the lid in a closed position.
