PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of printing position without the needs for an image signal delaying means by making the particles of charged ink collide with the same point of a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When the nozzle of ink jet heads 11-13 are each positioned on the same picture face, and a fixed deflecting voltage is applied between deflecting electrodes 7a and 7b and also the same level of a charge voltage is applied to each of charge electrodes, the direction of ink jet is set up in the direction that charged ink particles jetted from each nozzle reach the same point of the recording paper 9. Each of arresting pieces 81-83 is set up at the position at which unrecorded ink particles jetted from nozzles collide. Thus, when the direction of ink jet of plural color ink jet heads is deflected by a set of deflecting electrodes by charging ink jet to the same level, ink to be jetted onto the recording paper is made to collide with the same point, so that the needs for image signal delaying means can be eliminated. |
