PURPOSE:To compensate resistance due to the leakage inductance of a transformer for matching quartz oscillator impedance, by adding a resistance element to the primary or secondary side of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:A T-shaped quartz rejector is formed by substituting series resonating circuit L1/2 and 2C1 by quartz oscillator X2. Since the resonance impedance of the quartz oscillator is extremely high in general, winding ratio (n) of transformer T is large, and consequently transformer T has leakage and a loss due to the leakage. When leakage inductance L2 of transformer T is denoted as L2 and its loss resistance as R1, resistance R2 satisfying 2R1/n<2>=1/(2R2) is added to the primary said of impedance matching transformer T to obtain nearly flat characteristics over the whole passing band. |
