PURPOSE:To perfectly prevent erroneous motion, by informing an operator of a result of detecting whether nonvolatile memory elements are properly loaded or not. CONSTITUTION:Nonvolatile memory elements M with variable information concerning the conditions to be set in the copying machine stored in advance are detachably loaded to the given position of a control circuit using sockets X, Y, Z to conduct sequential control of the machine. When elements M are fixed perfectly to sockets X, Y, Z, their connection states are detected by short-circuiting 2 terminals in the control circuit with terminals y, z for detecting the connection state. When elements M are apart from the sockets, a signal for indicating the opened state between 2 terminals y, z is allowed to interrupt the control circuit to inhibit outputs of copying start command and exchange command of a photoreceptor, and it is indicated by lighting indicating lamp L. |
