Apparatus for squeezing citrous &c. fruits comprises a base 10 on the upper part of which is provided a receiver 11 having an internal bottom surface 12 sloping towards a discharge opening 14, a stem 15 supporting a freely rotatable bushing 34 formed integrally with a cupshaped member 16, said member being formed with protrusions 17 for locating the fruit to be squeezed, and a handle 18 adapted to rotate said member. A bowl 20 contacts the lower surface of the member 16 and acts as a lid for the receiver 11. The bowl is provided with filtration holes 23 and a protuberance 26 which prevents the rotation thereof. The fruit on the member 16 is squeezed by lowering a handle 30 so that a cap 27 provided with a covering member 29 contacts the fruit, the handle 18 being simultaneously rotated. Ribs 32 are provided on the internal surface of the cap. A ball bearing 35 facilitates the rotation of the bushing 34. |
