PURPOSE:To elevate the performance such as cancellation amount, focusing speed, etc. of the echo canceller by means of a little operation amount, by inserting a pseudo inverted matrix of the self-correlating matrix of a receiving signal into a part of the error matrix of the echo canceller. CONSTITUTION:A receiving signal xj from the receiving input terminal 2 is sent to the receiving side output terminal 4, and a part of the receiving signal is sent to the transmission side input terminal 5 as an echo yj. On the other hand, the receiving signal xj is sent to the regression coefficient counter 7 and also is sent to the weighted tap delay line 6, too. In this counter 7, the coefficient of regression is derived by use of the receiving signal within a time of period fixed in advance, and a pseudo inverted matrix is derived by using it. The matrix operator 8 executes the operation by use of the receiving signal xj and the element of the pseudo inverted matrix, and its result is sent to the multipliers 101,...,10N. Also, among the outputs of the operator 8, one value fixed in advance is sent to the flip flow 20 (M+1), it is multiplied by the error by the multiplier, and the tap weight of the delay line 6 is changed by the said output. |
