<p>PURPOSE:To avoid an inaccurate display of the electronic meter which is deflected by the power supply load at the start of the engine, by erasing the display of the meter when engine is started. CONSTITUTION:With switching of the ignition switch 1 to the starting position STA, the electric power is supplied to the cell motor 5 from the power source 2. And at the same time, the terminals ACC and IGN have a low and high level respectively, and the relay coil 9b is excited by the forward current flowing to the diode D3. As a result, the normally closed contact 9a is opened. Thus the supply of the electric power is interrupted from the source 2 to the electronic meter 8, and accordingly the display of the meter 8 is inhibited. As a result, an inaccurate display with deflecting meter, which is caused by the fluctuation of the power supply due to the large load at the start of the engine is prevented.</p> |
