PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional accuracy and strength by fixing a metal terminal in a recess formed on a glass coated ceramic body where the recess is filled with glass. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic body 1 is prepared on which a recess 2 for a terminal is provided at a desired position, on the surface and the recess of the ceramic body 1 same or different frit glass suitable for each material are coated, and a metal terminal 3 is placed in the recess 2. Then the body 1 is heated in an electric furnace to form a glass layer 5 on the surface through melting the frit glass and to glass- braze the metal terminal 3 in the recess 2. |
