PURPOSE:To prevent the color development or alteration during preservation for a long time of a fixed heat-sensitized paper by a method wherein a substance which makes a heat-sensitive layer insoluble in water when it is heated is contained in the layer and, the heat-sensitive layer in the part not printed is washed off after heat printing, only, the part pinted which is made water inpoluble is fixed. CONSTITUTION:To the heat-sensitive layer formed of a coloress or light-colored color-forming lactone compound (ex. crystal violet lactone) and of a phenolic substance which allows the color of the lactone compound to develop by heating (ex. 4, 4'-inopropyldendiphenol), etc. is added a substance which becomes water-insolubl by heating (preferably, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamide or the like), preferably, in 15-60wt%. And, the layer is washed after heat printing, only the printed part which has become water impoluble to be nonwater-sluble is left. EFFECT:The paper thus processed can not be altered by a heat pen or the like after it has been fixed. |
