RADAR DISPLAY SYSTEM BY LASER SCANNING

摘要

PURPOSE:To allow many observers to observe and study the image simultaneously by enlarged projection of the laser beam on an after glow screen being deflected in the order of a scanning through sequential brilliance modulation reading of the radar echo signal from a receiver once recorded. CONSTITUTION:The echo signal received by the radar antenna 2 is detected with the receiver 3 to be turned to a radar echo signal, which is recorded with a processing recorder 4. The signal is read off with a reader 7 by the control signal from a scanning signal generator 5 and fed to a laser modulator 8 which applies the brilliance modulation to the laser beam from the laser beam source 6 by the radar echo signal read here. The beam is scanned, being deflected with a beam deflector 9 synchronizing with the reading order. Finally, the beam is projected on the after glow screen 10 and thereby displayed on a large screen surface.
