The hollow interior (3) of a metal profile unit (2) is filled with a heat-insulating substance (4). Its longitudinal sides are fitted with hinge elements (5,6) in a leaf for a large roller door or one made up from covering members. Two gaps (9), extending over the length of the door leaf, are provided on one of its hollow walling pieces (7,8) in the vicinity of the narrow sides (10) of the hollow space - pref. on the one on the inner side. They may be bridged by narrow cross arm stems (11), and can run inside seams (13). The hollow metal profile can be made up from two lamella leaves (20,21). Heat transfer between inside and outside is considerably reduced.
