PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling and holding of the brush unit and improve the work efficiency thereof by providing a cutout and a spring-shaped projection, inserting the brush unit through the cutout and pressing and holding the brush unit by means of the spring-shaped projection. CONSTITUTION:A brush 15, a brush spring 16 and a brush terminal 17 are integrally formed into a brush unit. A cutout D is provided in the brush terminal 17, and a cutout B and a spring shaped projection C are provided in a brush holder 12. When the brush unit is assembled to the brush holder 12, the brush terminal 17 is inserted and pressed in the cutout B, and the spring shaped projection C is resiliently deformed along the cutout D, and pressed into the remote part of the cutout B by the reaction force of the brush spring 16 thereby to fix the same. By these procedures, the brush unit assembling operation can be carried out from one direction and thus the work efficiency can be improved. |
