PURPOSE: To reduce the expense of producing a die and to reduce the cost of production by using a die being able to deform the shape of pressing face and pressing a material to be pressed into plural numbers of shapes with one die. CONSTITUTION: Dies 7a, 7b have engaging parts 17a, 17b, and these are supported with a base 1 with the engaging parts 17a, 17b. Then, a material 8 to be pressed is arranged between the dies 7a, 7b, the material 8 is pressed by interposing a backing metal, etc., and being clamped with the dies 7a, 7b. In the case of deforming the pressing face 9b of the die 7a, a cylinder 5a is operated, and an arm 6a is extended. Therefor, a slider member 3a is slid inside a recessing part 2 and moved to the right direction. Then, the projecting part of the upper face of the slider member 3a and the projecting part of the bottom face of the pressing member 4a are made in contact. As a result, the pressing member 4a is projected from the recessing part of the base 1, and the upper face 10a of the pressing member 4a is pressed onto the bottom face 9a of the die 7a. Therefore, the shape of the pressing face 9a of the die 7a is deformed.
