A light-electrical arrangement consists of a light transmitter and receiver suitable for short or long distances. A partially-transmissive mirror is arranged at an inclination to the beam path of the light transmitter. This mirror can intercept the beam for reflection to the light receiver. At least one further light transmitter or receiver is selectively assigned to this unit. This additional facility lies outside the extension region of the mirror and serves for light-electrical reinforcing. Optics can be arranged in front of both parts. The latter can be separated by an opaque wall. They can be arranged in parallel and accommodated in a common housing. All parts can be embodied in an integral component.
