PURPOSE:To reduce in size by eliminating a rectifying circuit and a smoothing circuit on primary side, by converting 3-phase AC power source voltage directly to a required voltage by means of an AC-DC inverter equipped with double-throw switches on the primary side. CONSTITUTION:Double-throw switches S1 through S3 are made to repeat ON-OFF motions in turn by switching signals a through c from a driving circuit of a control. By doing so, AC voltage is obtained on secondary side of a transformer 21, and thus obtained AC voltage is rectified by a rectifying circuit 31, and then, it is further smoothed by an output filter 32 and becomes a stabilized DC voltage VO. By using such an AC-DC inverter 2', it is possible to eliminate a rectifying circuit and a smoothing circuit from the primary side. |
