A fuse of two exothermically alloyable materials, such as aluminum and palladium, is connected between one of two conventional conductive layer terminals which contact buried film electrodes within a monolithic ceramic body, and a third conductive layer that is spaced from the conventional terminals. Alternatively, the conventional body without the third layer has two leads, one of which is connected to a first of the terminals and the other of which is insulated from both terminals but physically attached to the body, and the fuse is connected between the insulated lead and the second of the terminals.
|
