<p>The hydraulic closing unit is for the rapid movement of the closing plate at low force, and consequent pressing of this plate against the top plate at a high force. It has a closing piston connected to the closing plate via piston rods passing through cylinder covers. The piston has an aperture, closed by a valve towards the end of the closing movement. A reversing valve alternately pressure-charges the cylinder spaces on either side of the closing piston. The valve is connected to a plunger piston, which during closing is charged with hydraulic fluid. The feed pipe to the cylinder space away from the plate, contains a unit, which forms no resistance to flow towards the chamber; but forms a pref adjustable resistance to a flow out of the chamber.</p> |
