<p>A photosensitive transfer material for reproducing positive images comprises a polyester support sheet coated with a photosensitive compsn contg. an ester or amide of o-naphthoquinone diazosulphonic acid, an alkali soluble phenolic resin and >=1 acrylic resin, the polyester surface have been treated with an aqs. soln contg. a halogenated fatty acid, a cross-linking agent and a water sol. compatible polymer, and then dried by heating. A detachable protective sheet may be applied to the free side of the photosensitive layer. The photosensitive can be exposed under a positive document through the polyester sheet, developed and transferred by heat and pressure onto a substrate and the polyester sheet neatly detached. Other uses include photoresist in prodn of printed circuit, printing plates etc.</p> |
