<p>The movements of all machines on a coke oven battery (coal charging car, coke pusher, levelling bar, coke guide, coke quenching car) are coordinated from a central control station through microwave sensors at each machine, and responders at each location. The sensors are linked to the central station via induction loops or directional radio links. This system ensures the proper coordination of all mechanical functions. The hot coke, in partic., cannot be pushed from the oven chamber unless coke guide and quenching car are in the correction position.</p> |
