PURPOSE:To obtain piezoelectric ceramics of high breaking strength containing few voids by adjusting each ingredient of Pb(SnalphaSb1-alpha)O3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3 system (1/4<=alpha<= 3/4). CONSTITUTION:In a structure system which consists of the ceramic composites of Pb(SnalphaSb1-alpha)O3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3 and whose grain size becomes 10mu maximum when sintered, mouldings of the composites are sintered in the oxygen atmosphere whose oxygen concentration is at or over 80 volume percent, keeping lead atmosphere. Here, the polygon ABCD shows the basic range of the ceramic composites. By sintering composites of this ratio range in processes, wet mixing-dewatering, drying-calcination-wet crushing with organic binder-dewatering-grain evening- moulding under a pressure of 100 kg/cm<2>-sintering (for two hours at 1250 deg.C), ceramics of few voids and high strength can be obtained. |
