PURPOSE:To form a color photographic sensitive material having excellent sharpness and color reproducibility by incorporating a specific compd. therein. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material contains the compd. expressed by the formula I. In the formula I, Z1, Z2 and Z4 denote -CO- group, etc., X and Y denote a methine group, etc., Z3 denotes the atomic group without contg. -CO- groups, etc., as the ring constituting atomic group and the org. atomic group to constitute 5-8-membered rings together with (Z1)a, (X=Y)b, (Z2)c, (Z4)d and CH-PDI. PDI is the group to form a development suppressor through the reaction with a developing agent oxidant by desorbing after the reaction of the compd. with the developing agent oxidant, a-d respectively denote 0 or 1. Either of a, b or c, d denote 1 if the ring expressed by the formula II in the formula I is the 5-membered ring. The case in which a benzene ring can be formed by tautomerism is exempted if the ring is a 6-membered ring. |
