PURPOSE:To improve the dispersibility and the desulfurization rate of the molten iron desulfurizer, and to lower the treating cost, by including the mixture of carbon and the dust generated from the CaC2 and the CaC2 electric furnace, at a specified proportion, and by specifying the ratio of the dust to the carbon. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of carbon and the wet type or dry type dust of the CaC2 electric furnace, 20-70wt% against 30-80 wt% CaC2 is added to CaC2 as the desulfurization promoter for CaC2. Besides, the mixing proportion between the wet type or dry type dust mainly composed of CaO and C, and carbon is settled at 60:40-20:80; and the dust and carbon are pulverized before use into the particle size all passing the sieve of particle size about 210mu. Since only about 5-20wt% carbon is included in the mixture of carbon and dust generated from the electric furnace, the pulverized fine carbon is added to this mixture additionally, in this invention, for improving the desulfurization effect. |
