The wind-driven power generating unit comprises one or more bladed impellers, driving a converter to turn the rotational energy into storable or transportable energy. The impeller shaft is provided with a crank which convert the rotation of the shaft into reciprocating movement which drives a pump. The pump moves a liq. to a storage vessel. The potential energy of the liq. is then used to drive a power generator the liquid being returned to its lower-level vessel. The crank and connecting rod drive a piston pump. |
