Acupuncture reflex points location and stimulation device - uses combination of AC, DC and square wave generators to produce current of less than one microampere

The appts. permits the detection and stimulation of specific acupumature reflex points. It employs an assembly of A.C. and D.C. generators producing signals of less than one microamp and a variable square wave generator. These all have the same internal impedances. The electrical circuit includes an amplifier-detector which measures the voltage set up between two electrodes by the electrical polarisation of the patient's skin. The system operates at a frequency of around 2 kilo hertz which is high enough to reduce electrolysis effects.
