METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HYDROMETALLURGICAL CEMENTATION

Hydrometallurgical cementation of metals is effected with cylindrical cementation appts. in which the solid and liq. phases are exposed simultaneously to rotation and vibration in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The cylinders are filled with cementation medium supported by springs on a base and driven by a shaft with cut-of-balance weights; fittings are provided for charging and discharging. Process increases the efficiency of metal recovery by combination of movements, which compresses the diffusion layer.
