PURPOSE:To prevent recording of inferior picture quality and prevent the occurrence of staining in the apparatus by detecting the decrease in developing bias voltage, alarming the voltage drop according to the results of the detection and stopping recording operation. CONSTITUTION:The output of a developing bias power source 10 is suppplied to the rotary sleeve in a developing device 5 and is also supplied to a voltage regulator 20. This regulator 20 is used to decrease the developing bias voltage down to the operating voltage of a voltage detector 22 and its output is supplied to an integrating circuit 21. This integrating circuit 21 is the circuit to avert the effect owing to the instantaneous drop of the voltage supplied from the regulator 20 and the output of the integrating circuit 21 is supplied to the voltage detector 22. This detector 22 detects the drop of the developing bias voltage having been supplied and the results whereof are supplied to a control circuit 23. Thereby, the drop of the bias voltage may be rapidly and readily known and the recording of inferior picture quality may be prevented. |
