The present invention relates to a mobile relay system supporting multi-channel point-to-point communications and an operating method thereof. The mobile relay system is configured to relay the communication between point of sales (POS) terminals and mobile devices after determining whether each of the mobile devices is arranged on a mobile relay pad or not. The POS terminals are connected by using one of direct communication means or wireless short-range communication means such as near field communications (NFC), Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The mobile devices are connected to one of multi-channel wireless short-range communication means including NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The mobile relay pad includes: a multi-channel wireless short-range communication unit executing a multi-channel wireless short-range communication operation including NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi; and a data input/output unit including a display unit and a key pad.
