PURPOSE:To enable a simple circuit to detect an address by setting a detection point by writing ''1'' into a RAM by a selective signal and then by identifying an output read out from the RAM, when ''1'', as the detection point for the execution of a program. CONSTITUTION:The microprocessor writes ''1'' into register 11 to RAM12 corresponding to an indicated address and selector circuit 14 selects the output of register 11 and applies it as the address of RAM 12. Then, writing ''1'' into RAM12 by a selective signal sets the detection point. To execute the program, the computer reads out the contents of RAM12 according to the access address and when the output is ''1'', it is identified as the detection point. Consequently, the address detection of a computer needed for the on-line debugging unit of a microcomputer can be realized by a simple circuit. |
