Typewriter inking head covering device - has covering and cleaning strips guided together at cassette opening

The device covers the nozzle surface on the inking head of a typewriter, comprising a cassette with openings for feeler, drive and adjusting members. A covering and a cleaning strip are passed over an opening in the cassette wall to bear against the nozzle face. Both strips(2, 3) are guided together one behind the other at the opening(4) to bear against the nozzle face(5). In the strip nearest to the nozzle, openings are formed to allow the strip behind to bear against the face, when an opening in the front one is opposite it.
