CIRCULAR ARC SIGNAL GENERATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To secure a beautiful display of the circular arc with a simple method by storing only the displacement data of the spot array on the circle circumference into the memory for the circular arc signal generation system in which the x and y coordinate data of the spot array on the circle circumference is stored in the memory. CONSTITUTION:ROM1 and 2 are provided to memorize the displacement data of both the x and y coordinates of the spot array on the circumference of the reference circle, and counter circuit 3 is added to select a pair of x and y coordinate displacement data read out from ROM1 and 2 in connection to clock generator circuit 7. In addition, the following units are provided: register 6 to memorize the radius data given from outside; multipliers 8 and 9 to give the multiplication to the data selected by counter 3 among the x and y coordinate displacement data memoriyed in ROM2 and 3 as well as to the radius data read out from register 6; and accumulators 10 and 11 to give the cumulative addition or subtraction to the signals delivered from multipliers 8 and 9 in sequence. Thus, the output of accumulators 10 and 11 are delivered via D/A converters 12 and 13 in the form of the x and y deflecting signals respectively.
