PURPOSE:To largely improve the base fog of front and rear faces of a recording sheet in case of preserving the sheet by rolling in a rolled state by employing specific organic acid substance as developer in a heat sensitive coloring layer on the front surface of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:Organic acid substance of one or more types selected from benzyl-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate, n-butyl-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate and 4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxydiphenylsulfone is employed as a developer in a heat sensitive coloring layer on the surface of a recording sheet. Since this has smaller pressure sensitive property than that of a substance used heretofore, it is not easily reacted with dye by a winding pressure at the time of winding and preserving the sheet. Since the smoothness of at least one of front and rear faces of the sheet is 9-15cmHg, the sheet is wound and preserved in a state that the front and rear face of the sheet are brought into contact satisfactorily. |
