PURPOSE:The title composition usable for manufacturing transparent molded articles scarcely containing substances to migrate to the contents of the packaging, having improved heat and light resistance, and gas barrier properties, comprising a vinylidene chloride resin and a spacific chlorinated ethtlene-vinyl ester copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 parts by wt. of a vinylidene chloride resin consisting of a copolymer of (a) 75-95 wt.% of vinylidene chloride and (b) 25-5 wt.% of a copolymerizable monomer, e.g. vinyl chloride, (meth)acrylic ester, etc. is incorporated with (B) 3-60 parts by wt. of a chlorinated ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer with a vinyl ester content of 3-55 wt.% (based on the chlorinated polymer), obtained by chlorinating an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer with a vinly ester content of 10-40 wt. % (based on the unchlorinated copolymer), having an MI of 0.1- 1,000. |
