PURPOSE:To prevent heat deterioration of a synthetic resin in molding at high temperatures, by adding an organic tin maleate, a sulfur-containing organotin compound, and magnesium hydroxide to a resin composition consisting of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin and a vinyl chloride resin. CONSTITUTION:A) 100 parts by wt. of a resin composition having well-balanced properties of improved moldability, heat stability, physical properties, and flame retardancy, consisting of a) an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin and b) a vinyl chloride resin is blended with B) 0.5-5 parts by wt., preferably 1-4 parts by wt. of an organic tin maleate, C) 0.3-5 parts by wt., preferably 0.3-3 parts by wt. of a sulfur-containing organotin compound, and D) 0.05-1.5 parts by wt. preferably 0.1-1.0 part by wt. of magnesium hydroxide. The weight ratio of a) to b) is about 4:6-6:4, and the total amount of the ingredients B) and C) is 1.5-8 parts by wt. |
