PURPOSE:To improve electrical characteristic with giving a high characteristic impedance by reducing the interaction between lines in a high frequency band in the micro strip line-type branch line coupler having two branch lines. CONSTITUTION:In the micro strip line-type branch line coupler having two branch lines, micro strip lines 3 and 4 are defined as lines of 1/4 wave length, and impedance converter 5 which converts the impedance of the input impedance and charactristic impedance Z0 of the power supply is inserted to each of terminals 1 to 4. This converte is constituted by a line of 1/4 wave length, and the characteristic impedance of terminals 1 to 4 of the coupler which is constituted by micro strip lines 3 and 4 having characteristic impedance Z1' and Z2' is made higher than radio wave characteristic impedance Z0=50OMEGA. Then, the interaction between lines in a high frequency band is reduced. |
