HEAT SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material having high sensitivity even with low energy, satisfactory scum deposit to a head and small reduction in density even if printed with high energy by incorporating specific amino acid compound between a support and a heat sensitive recording layer. CONSTITUTION:So-called amino acid gelatinizer can be employed as N- acylamino acid ester, N-acylamino acid amide or N-acylamino acid amine salt contained in an intermediate layer between a support and a heat sensitive recording layer. The use is not always limited, but it is desirable to coat with 0.05-5g/m<2> as amino acid compound on the support, and the ratio of the N- acylamino acid compound occupying the intermediate layer is 0.5-50wt.% in solid.
