A silver halide light-sensitive material(I) suitable for treatment with developer contg. dialdehyde compds. was prepd. I consisted of supports and more than one photog. layer, at least one of these photog. layers contd. carbodiimide compds. according to the following formula: [X-N=C=N-Y [B-R n (X, Y = alkyl, aryl, cyclo alkyl, alkenyl, alkenylaryl, etc.) R= H or alkyl, B = anion and n = o,1 or 2.
