<p>PURPOSE:To control the tension of the rolled material by the tension roller at an improved response speed on purpose to rest-rict the tension fluctuation within a small range, by obtaining the tension of the rolled material from the axial load of the tension roller being interposed between the rolling mills, and from the contact angle of the rolled material agans against the tension roller, and controlling the thrust force of roller so that the deviation between the obtained tension and the set tension becomes zero.</p> |
