摘要 A rain separator mechanism for separating contaminated water and rain water has a back-up chamber arranged between the drain and the treatment plant, in which chamber a downflow baffle divides off a chamber on the separation side which is provided with a discharge to the treatment plant and with an overflow edge to guide the waste water pipe. An additional outlet, controlled by a float, is provided to reduce the maximum back-up target, a coarse filter being arranged between the lower edge of the downflow baffle and the wall of the back-up chamber. Furthermore, a float, preferably arranged in the back-up chamber on the drain side, is connected via rocking beams, whose axis of rotation lies above the downflow baffle, to a shutter forming the threshold of the weir and articulated on the crown of the defining wall on the separation side. Within the back-up chamber, a chamber is separated off whose upper edge lies above the highest back-up target in the back-up chamber and whose preferably funnel-shaped base is connected to a down-pipe which ends outside the defining wall on the separation side above the highest achievable level in the receiving water course and which is connected via an overflow to the back-up chamber, the lower edge of this overflow lying at the level of the minimum back-up target. Furthermore a container, having a preferably funnel-shaped base with an outlet, is suspended in the partitioned-off chamber, its suspension being connected to the float via an upper bypass and its inner space lying below the opening of the overflow. <IMAGE>
