<p>The drawing board desk is suspended fixed from the ceiling by a locally fixed bearing which is displaceably suspended via the upper arm end (4) from the load bearing support (2) which is fixed to the ceiling (7) via ceiling supports (15) and/or fastening anchors (16). This fixed bearing can be fixed by a slide plate (3) to the transverse support (17) so that it is suspended freely or fixed, and can be displaced vertically or horizontally. The suspended talbe can first be used as an optimum room divider from where it can be moved into different positions of use. It can be vertically adjusted to the required height and provides completely free floor space beneath for other office furniture or equipment. More than one drawing board can be fitted into this structure. When used it is possible for the board to be supported on the floor by a load support which can take up the stresses to provide extra stability, with the load being transferred from the ceiling to the floor.</p> |
