<p>The seat suspension comprises several superposed layers of foils (5, 6) with hermetically sealed air chambers (4) which make up the seat and/or back rest. This is then closed on the underneath by a solid panel or plate 7. The shape of the air chambers can be lide a flat cylinder, a semi-sphere or complete sphere. The volume of each chamber can be some cubic centimetres. Even after long use, these hermetically sealed air chambers provide a silent effective suspension. For improved stabilising, the air chambers can be spaced from each other, so that when several layers of foil are placed one above the other each air chamber is supported by two chambers in the row below.</p> |
